Well… to say the least, it has been quite a while since I have had time to paint for my own enjoyment! I am finally back in action, and will be offering small studies via the eBay auction style once again. I will begin with a very recent piece that I started from a recent Minnesota vacation. One of my favorite things about the warm summer months is being able to wear flip flops. I must say it is definitely my shoe of choice, and beings that I live in South Dakota, the wearing of flip flops does not get taken for granted! We South Dakotans tend to charish those few sweet months of flip flop wearing weather… Well, I do anyway! With no further adue, here is my most recent painting entitled ‘flops on the dock’. The painting was composed on a 6x6x1/2″ blick artists’ panel (which I am very impressed with, by the way). The panel is finished with black on the edges and has a hanging compartment in the back.
