GREEN MUSTANG

I so happened to be out and about on one of my ‘photography drives’ —(a process in which I basically drive around town or the country and just snap photos at anything seemingly interesting…) Anyway, this lovely green Ford Mustang happened to pull in front of me. I proceeded to snap a few photos as we were both waiting in the turning lane. The Mustang had a convertable top which conveniently displayed the confused faces of the passengers as they watched me photograph them through the window of my own vehicle. Despite a little embarassment from the start, I really enjoyed creating this piece. Lots of nice reflections, and an interesting crop on the composition. Thanks for looking! This piece features a vintage, aqua-green teapot sitting upon a white window sill. A low light enters through the window, creating a large display of colors upon the otherwise solid colored object. This piece also has a vast array of value contrasts with shadows and reflections upon the subject’s surface.
